After the nature walk, have them draw and write a nature book to talk about what they saw during the nature walk. As a class, you can work on describing some of the items that the students found by attributes.
The book is perfect for sight word practice and personal retells of what they saw! My kindergarten through 2nd graders LOVED this activity.
