In the first comparing numbers center, students pick two cards and place greater than, less than, or equal to card in the middle. Numbers go up to 20.

The second center students write in the >, <, or = sign on the card with given numbers. The cards have single digit numbers to 10.

I've also included anchor charts for greater than, less than, and equals to!

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “No-Prep Lesson Plans for Bradbury’s Civil War Story, ‘The Drummer Boy of Shiloh’”

Ray Bradbury is best known for his science fiction literature, but his work isn't relegated to that genre alone. His historical fiction short story, "The Drummer Boy of Shiloh," is a great example of his flexibility, and it makes a perfect companion text for more famous literature on the topic like Stephen Crane's Red Badge of Courage or Ambrose Bierce's story, "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge," which was actually adapted into a Twilight Zone episode.

This freebie includes two no-prep lesson plans for Bradbury's text: a discussion-based lesson or a close reading of the text. The strategies presented are engaging and adaptable. There's no prep work required. And either lesson would make a great emergency sub plan.
