Southwest States Review Boom Cards offer a fun way for students to review the names, locations, capitals, and abbreviations of the four states of the American Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
These self-checking Boom Cards are highly engaging for students because they use a variety of answer choice styles including multiple choice, fill in the blank, and drag and drop. Students are not expected to spell the state names or their capitals. However, they will be required to enter the 2-letter abbreviations for some of the states. These Boom Cards are perfect for both classroom use and distance learning!
Southwest States Review is a free sample from my 50 States Boom Cards Bundle. The Southwest Region has only 4 states, so there are only 14 digital task cards in this set. Audio Read-aloud Option
There are two versions of the Southwest States Review Boom Cards included in this product, one with audio and one without audio. The two decks are similar, but the cards in the audio deck have a sound icon in the upper left corner that students can click if they want to hear the words on the card read aloud.

To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards.
When you purchase Boom Cards on TpT, you’ll receive a PDF that includes a link for redeeming your product. When you click that link, the deck will be added to your Boom Learning library.
