FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Syllable Fun-Mazes to Practice Identifying the Number of Syllables in Words”

by Stacey Fisher
1st - 2nd Grade

This FREEBIE includes four mazes to practice counting the number of syllables in words. Students will make their way to the end of the mazes by shading in the boxes or drawing lines to connect the boxes with words with the specified number of syllables.

The mazes include:
★ 1 Syllable Words
★ 2 Syllable Words
★ 3 Syllable Words
★ 4 Syllable Words
★ 1 Create Your Own Maze

Answer keys are included for each of the four mazes.

This product is a sample of my larger product containing eleven mazes to review the parts of speech. In that product, students will practice identifying nouns (singular, plural, common, and proper), verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.
