This FREE, low prep, Doubles, I have, Who has...?" Card Game is a fantastic resource for students learning doubles to practice the skill of doubling numbers. There are 12 cards in the pack going up to number 24. It can be played in a small group and is a wonderful fun way for students to learn and memorise double facts. It also works well as an assessment tool, as educators can observe students playing to ascertain whether they have developed the skill.
How to prep the product?
- Print cards and laminate
How to use the product?
- Hand cards out to students - they can be seated at desks on carpet, in a circle. The game can be played in very small groups with students having multiple cards.
- The student with the starred START card begins by reading his card. The other students have to identify if they have the answer, and if they do they say "I have...(the answer), who has...double ? (listed on card). The game works in a round with every child getting to play that has a card.
