Subtraction with Regrouping Tic-Tac-Toe Math Center is designed to give students practice with 3-digit subtraction with regrouping.
Students work with a partner to play tic-tac-toe with a twist. Each space on the tic-tac-toe board is marked with a subtraction problem. In order to cover the space, the student must correctly solve the problem and find the card with the matching solution to claim the space. Traditional tic-tac-toe rules apply. To win, a student must get 3 in a row or 3 in a column or 3 diagonally.
