This teacher guide to Boom Cards™ and Boom Learning℠ will provide all the information you need to learn what Boom Cards are, how you can use them in your classroom, and how to set up your Boom Learning account. In addition, you will receive instructions on how to redeem my FREE set of Boom Cards on metric units and metric prefixes.
What Are Boom Cards?
In a nutshell, Boom Cards are digital task cards. You would use them the same way you use traditional task cards, only these cards are viewed on digital devices such as interactive whiteboards, desktops, laptops, netbooks, Chromebooks, iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and phones, and Kindle-Fire tablets. It’s all digital!! No more printing, cutting, and laminating cards. Can you say time-saver? Just assign a Boom deck to your students and you are ready to go.

Boom Learning and Teachers Pay Teachers
Any set of Boom Cards purchased on TpT allows you to forever play the Boom Cards using Fast Play. Fast Play does not save student progress reports but does provide you and your students unlimited and lifetime play of the decks you purchase from TpT.
From Boom Learning: “With your Teachers Pay Teachers purchase, users new to Boom Learning get a three-month free trial of student progress reporting for up to 150 students. Your trial includes the ability to make up to 5 free DIY decks. You may upgrade or cancel at any time. When you redeem your purchase, Boom Learning opens an account for you if you do not already have one. If you do not subscribe at the end of your trial, you will be able to continue using Boom Cards with the Fast Play feature. Fast Play does not track individual progress.”
There are four levels of Boom memberships: There is one free level and 3 levels of paid subscriptions. All three levels of paid memberships are currently under $25 per year.
Remember, at the end of the free period, it is NOT required that you purchase a Boom membership. You will continue to be able to use all decks that you have purchased in the “Fast-Play” mode.
