FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Cam Jansen: Mystery of the Carnival Prize - Inferencing”

by Sweet Integrations
2nd - 4th Grade

Welcome to Sweet Integrations.

Enjoy this Free sample from my Cam Jansen mystery product. Inferring is a basic skill that can be difficult to achieve by struggling learners. Teaching inferring through mysteries is a fun way to teach your students about the mystery genre and reading strategies.

In this product:
- I Wonder - Before Reading, during reading and after reading
- Inferences - Characters say or do things in a story that help you make inferences about the story. Good readers read between the lines looking for clues.
- Inference task cards - Text taken from the book. Students will then write their inference about the text.

Please continue to visit my store for more mystery and project based learning units.
