Action Verbs Game (free) - I have, who has?
This is a lovely game where students have to identify the action verb in each sentence.
Directions:
Hand out all the cards.
The student with the “start” card may begin by reading the card aloud. Example: Start! Who has “I eat an apple”?
The student who has the card with the correct verb reads their answer and the new question. Example: I have “eat”. Who has “I read a good book”?
Students must listen for their turn and try not to break the chain.
When the chain circles back to the first student, the game is over.
