FREE SCIENCE LESSON - “Astronomy-Planets and the Distance From the Sun”

This is a detailed scripted lesson plan including goals and learning outcomes, essential questions, along with timed activities. It focuses on the planet's distance from the sun and how that distance effects the potential for water and life on Earth. The second portion of the lesson plan focuses on the different atmospheric conditions of the different planets and how it compares to Earth's.

Requires laptops/netbooks for the students. There are links for websites for activities and for a video warm up. Worksheet is included for activity.
