FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Brainstorming Organizers, FREE Handouts & Examples to Help Teen Writers, CCSS”

by Laura Randazzo
6th - 12th Grade

These four brainstorm organizers will help middle school and high school writers learn to gather their ideas and research before writing. I’ve included not only blank handouts for you to use with your students, but also four examples of completed organizers to use as models. All of the pages can be printed as handouts or projected for use on a white board.

The four brainstorming organizers with completed samples/models include:
Bubble cluster
Spider diagram
Formal outline
Columns

Want to learn more about these four graphic organizers? Be sure to check out my YouTube video that includes a lot more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbfYdKJiECI
