Will you be watching the Eclipse across America on August 21, 2017 with your students? This activity can help children stay patient as they wait for the eclipse to begin.
Included with this video is a downloadable file you can use to create eclipse spinners with your students.
You can choose to extend the activity, by talking about our eyes and how we perceive the world around us. It leads beautifully into a discussion of eye safety when looking at the sun.
Have a wonderful time viewing the eclipse with your students!
