When students struggle to memorize multiplication facts, teachers often struggle to find practice activities that are specific to one set of facts. This packet of 9 activities focuses on X5 facts. There is a manipulative activity using picture cards, a concentration memory game, X5 tic tac toe, a practice page of one hundred X5 facts, a one-minute timing, and activities with arrays and multiples. This group of activities provides the explicit practice your students need to master X5 facts. All of these activities can be used whether your students are required to learn multiplication facts to 5X12, or to 5X10. Some activities can be adapted by just leaving out the X11 and X12 cards. Those that are not adaptable are included in two versions—one version that covers 0x5 to12x5 and another version that covers 0x5 to 10x5. This is one of a series of packets focused on specific multiplication families.
