Turkey Poem: This is a fun little action poem for young readers. Great for choral reading or a short readers theater!
Author is unknown, but this has been a favorite poem for this time of year. It is assumed to be in the public domain.
If you want a handy little poem to have fun with, as a brain break, down time, or for a short and sweet performance, this just might fit your needs! My kids have had a lot of fun with this just before Thanksgiving.
I put a few action lines as suggested movements, but you can add your own to this. Thanks to A Sketchy Guy for his fabulous turkey!
