An act one plot summary, a review activity AND a 60 point Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet EDITABLE act one test, all accompanied by answer keys - a bardic FREE treat! A fill in the blanks act one worksheet is included to help students review for the test.
The test has LOTS of variety. One of the 3 written responses on a selected long quote (the Prologue) even gives students a short creative writing experience.
Prepping for an act one test will ensure that your students have a strong grasp of the foundations of the play, making their study of the rest of Romeo and Juliet easier. With knowledge of the tragedy's key characters, events and themes established early on, students will thrive in acts two-five, being able to delve more deeply into the play.
