Free for March and April to aid you with distance learning! This regular priced resource is free for these months.

For primary grade students and hesitant writers. This Power Point has 12 templates or organizers for writing animal reports, with hyperlinks to informational text at National Geographic Kids. This set is designed so that students can click on appropriate links to read about an animal and then type in information about it.

Within this zip file is a Power Point that can be sent to students, so that they can type in their own text, and go to hyperlinks to help them fill out their reports.

Have students choose one or all! This editable animal report has 19 student pages, for you to edit, or for students to edit, if you wish them to make changes. The templates are general outlines to give students a place to begin And add as much text as they want.

Each animal template has a hyperlink to National Geographic Kids so that they can read information about the animal they wish to write about. Your students can quickly acquire info so that they can add text in as notes prior to writing.

You can also choose to have them do each animal--without doing full reports. This could be a lot of fun for them--and it would give them 12 pages to combine into a book if you choose to staple them together. A KWL chart and evaluation template are included. Space on the pages give students room for typing.
