FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Introductory Unit "I HAVE, WHO HAS?" Sight Word Practice for Harcourt Trophies”

by The Primary Techie
1st Grade

Don't just practice the words to remember for one week and move on! This game keeps kids practicing words they have already learned so they don't forget them! As students are introduced to more sight words, the oldest words fade out. Words spiral for many weeks.

This set contains 24 "I have, who has" cards correlating with Harcourt Trophies first grade series. There are seven additional cards for "Reading Helpers" in case you have more than 24 students.

Here is how the game works - one card says "I have the first card. Who has a?" Another card says "I have a. Who has here?" Students must listen for their word. This game offers tons of great reading practice and is also great for listening skills.

To make the game easier for first graders, the first card in each set has a green go sign, the last card has a red stop sign, and all sight words are in bold print. Pass the cards out again and again for more reading practice!

BUY MORE - SAVE MORE! These games are available for $1.00 per game. Buy all the stories for the book for $5.00. Get the entire year's worth of games for $20.00!
