FREE MISC. LESSON - “Positive Behavior Strategy: Secret Student”

Kindergarten - 12th Grade

Secret Student Labels-Are you looking for a way to encourage positive behavior? If so, this may work for you!

I was unsuccessful at getting my students to efficiently come into the classroom in the morning and get right to work, after following the normal classroom routine. It seemed to take forever to get attendance taken, get lunch choices logged, and go about our morning checklist of things that needed to be done. So, I came up with this SECRET STUDENT idea.

Each morning I have two of these labels on the board with a student’s name underneath each. I laminated and put magnets on the back of them. When time is up, I reveal the names under the labels. If those students are in their seats on time and have followed all of the directions, they get whatever the reward is for that day (prize box, school “dollars,” extra computer time, etc.). This has worked wonders and when I forget to put the labels up before I leave the night before they are sure to remind me. I hope that you can find a way to use them in your classroom.

There are 4 different sets, with 2 labels per page.
