FREE MATH LESSON - “Free Fall Write the Room Count the Room for Numbers 1-10 Differentiated”

Get your students up and moving while having fun practicing numbers 1-10 with this free differentiated resource!

Your students will love visiting each card and counting the cute fall objects, recording their responses, and heading to the next one!

You will love how easy it is to differentiate - simply choose which page to give each student and send them on their way!

You receive:

Write / Count the Room Activity for Numbers 1-10

A set of counting cards. Each card has cute fall, Halloween (optional), & Thanksgiving pictures that students love to count!

You also receive 2 differentiated sets of answer pages. Students circle the correct number from 3 given numbers OR students write the correct number.

Easy to set up! Simply print the pages and cards. Cut the cards apart and place them around the room or on desks around the room.

Give each child a page and send them around the room!

The perfect activity for before or after Halloween or prior to Thanksgiving break when students have extra excitable energy!

Answer keys are provided for each set of pages.

FREE MISC. LESSON - “The Best Gifts: Class Compliments for the Holiday Season (FREEBIE!)”

Use these resources to have students create meaningful and character-building gifts for one another that they will cherish for years.

Included:
•Compliment and character trait anchor charts
•Compliment cards in color and black and white
•Envelope covers in color and black and white

Have students write a compliment to each of their classmates. Collect all of the compliments and collate them into individual envelopes for each student. Seal the envelopes and attach the envelope covers.

At the end of the last day of school before winter break, pass out the envelopes--no peeking until you get home! Over vacation, students will love reading their compliments.

This is a great way to build classroom community, raise self-esteem, and promote positive relationships. I love this activity because it's non-denominational, meaningful, and best of all--FREE! Enjoy!!

FREE SCIENCE LESSON - “Rocks and Minerals Observation Station Freebie Weathering & Erosion”

Engage your students during a rocks and minerals or weathering and erosion unit with a hands-on Rocks Observation Station.

An Observation Station is quick and easy to set up and costs nothing if you can find some rocks for the kids to look at - or set them the task of collecting them for you! Add some magnifying glasses and rocks and minerals themed books and your station is ready to go.

This freebie includes two pages.

1. A slide to add to SeeSaw or similar app for students to take photos of rocks and record the characteristics of them in order to make an informed guess about the type of rock it is. I use this page when introducing the 3 types of rocks (igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary) to my class during a lesson.
