Two fun beach vocabulary games at two different levels. This resource is great for reinforcing sight words and is a highly engaging game. It would be useful for studying Australia Day or a Summer theme in Years 1 and 2.
The game cards are put in a bag and each student draws a card and reads the word. If they read it correctly, they keep the card. If someone draws a "Sunburn" or "Jellyfish" card (depending on the game), all of the cards are returned to the bag and the game begins again. The winner is the person with the most cards at the end of the rotational activity.
