Encourage a positive, successful interaction with books and reading for all levels of readers with this fun activity designed to encourage students to make friends with books and fall in love with reading! This activity is perfect for an early reading project in the year! It is unique and simple, and the finished activity may be used for an engaging bulletin board! The project is appropriate for a range of grade levels and reading proficiency levels (including reluctant readers), and it is designed to facilitate successful completion and a totally positive experience with books, reading, and learning.

This project is JUST ONE of the monthly projects I use to encourage reading. My students love these projects. We keep track of the number of projects completed and celebrate our reading achievements at the end of the year!
