Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
This fun and engaging math game will develop students fluency recalling numbers before and after any given number 0-50. It is the perfect way to open or close any whole class kindergarten or first grade math lesson or it could also be used with smaller groups as an assessment tool.
The learners in my class love its fast pace and always ask to play it again!
This game is sooo easy to use, just print, laminate and cut out the individual cards. Voila!
This resource contains 20 Number Before Number After Loop Cards 0-50
Instructions
- Divide the cards between the players
- Find the ‘Start’ card as this is who will begin the game
- The first player then reads out the right side of their card e.g. "Who has the number before 15?
- Players must check their cards to see if they have the number described
- If they do, they shout "I have 14." They then read out the right side of their card to the group.
- This should continue until all cards form a loop to the Stop card.
