The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs III: FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Fall Speech Therapy Open Ended Cupcake Game”

These adorable fall cupcakes make any activity more fun. Use them to add a game element to any of your therapy sessions. Here are just some of my ideas:

•Memory : Make 1 copy of each page on cardstock and laminate. Cut apart and enjoy

•Matching : Make one copy of each page on cardstock, cut the page so that the middle 2 columns remain attached and the other 12 pictures are cut out individually. Place individual cards upside down in the center of the table and give each of 2 players a game board. Each player selects a card and sees if it matches their board. If not, put it back and mix into the pile.

•Requesting: Cut pages as described above. Give students the page with 6 pictures and have them use descriptions to request the cupcakes they need for their boards.

•Describing: Hold up either 1 or 2 cards and have students either describe the single cupcake or compare and contrast 2 cupcakes.
