This is a great activity to review at the beginning or end of year or for pre-test review.
For each task, students search through a reading text to find examples of sentences that contain the given language convention, and then they write the sentence.

✦ 5 Activity sheets with 6 pre-selected text quest tasks given per sheet
✦ An editable PowerPoint version of the activity sheet that you can customize with your own selection of tasks as appropriate to the reading activity you choose.
✦ 36 Task cards with text quest activities so you can choose the tasks you want to include in the order that works best with your curriculum and/or text materials you are using. Use in centers or choose one at a time for a bell ringer/for whole class work, compare student responses to highlight a variety of possible answers, etc.
✦ A response sheet that contains a space for examples of each language convention given in the 36 task cards. This can be used as a reference sheet or study guide that the students build together over time until all spaces are filled.
