My Personalized Comprehension Passages are designed to engage your students as they practice key reading skills. These engaging passages are sure to be a hit in your classroom! Your student's eyes will light up when they see THEIR name in the story!
This FREE resource includes 1 original reading comprehension passage that you can quickly and easily personalize with your students names!
To create your class set of passages, simply type your students’ names in the table of contents once, and it will autofill into all of the passages creating a class set for up to 20 students. If you have more than 20 students, you can type in your first 20 students’ names, print, and then type the next students names.
These passages are written with first grader and second graders in mind, but could be used with kindergarten, second grade, ESOL/ELL, or Special Education students depending on student abilities.
How to Prep
These passages are super easy to use and require very little prep! Simply type student names in the table of contents and the names will automatically fill in the passages. Print them out, and you’re ready to go! It's really that easy!
What Do Students Do?
This passage includes a short story for students to read, an illustration in which they are able to complete by drawing themselves on the blank faced body, and then 3 simple comprehension questions that students can answer by reading the text or looking at the picture! You can also have students color code the questions and where they found the answer in the story!
Answer key is included.
