"Charlie Over the Ocean" is a fun nautical-themed folk song that your students will just love. The sheet music is included for this song, along with game instructions and teaching ideas. Four non-pitched percussion (NPP) ostinatos are included to add to the song. 

This echo song is simple to learn, and it is a perfect way to assess your students while they gain confidence in singing a solo.

Rhythms included:
* 6/8 – dotted quarter note
* 6/8 – dotted quarter rest
* 6/8 – quarter note/8th note
* 6/8 – 3 8th notes

Percussion instruments:
* Hand drum
* Sand blocks
* Cabasa
* Cow bell
