TPT Referrals & Gravoisfare

For years, I've made multiple products for my class use and am thrilled to now have a place to sell them and make money. If you don't have a store on Teachers Pay Teachers, what are you waiting for? Downloading is easy; plus, you already have products that you've made. TPT provides a great supplemental income to our high teacher salaries. Bwah! As teachers, we need the extra income, especially if you have kids.

If you want to start your own store, click on this link:

From there, everything is self explanatory.

I have a highly talented author/artist friend who I got started on TPT. Meet Michael Gravois of GravoisFare.

I met Michael from a Memphis writers' group called ABC Writers. We've both been working on multiple children's manuscripts, although Michael is more focused on authoring and illustrating picture books, while I write middle grade and young adult novels. Michael already has multiple teacher books published through Scholastic. Even though he joined TPT a little over a month ago, he's been downloading products like crazy. Michael already has 132 products, and they are selling.

I helped him to download this one:

It's a circle template book that gives kids directions to help them create a research project. His first day as a TPT seller, I showed him how to pin and pinned it on a few boards. Would you believe I'm still getting people repinning this? All of his products have this same professional quality, so I know he'll do fabulous on Teachers Pay Teachers.

He's also written multiple products for social studies, specifically zeroing in on knowledge about each state. He sells state mini-booklets individually or for a true savings, one can buy all fifty state activities at once.

or you can check out your favorite state in the product above or as a circle book.
Here's California!

These products are great, so I highly recommend that one checks out

and while you're at it, you might as well visit my store.

Don't forget to sign up for your own TPT store!

Need help teaching decimals? I have multiple products to cover this skill. One of my most popular is the Multiplying Decimals lesson. This lesson may be purchased in power point (

or active software ( This lesson demonstrates how to complete multiply and allows for ample student practice problems.

I've also made lessons with challenging word problems using decimals.

Once again, you may purchase this product in a power point format (
or in an active software flipchart for your Promethean Board. (

Just this week, I revised another product that allows for students to practice multiplying decimals. It now uses a cute font and includes clip art. Check it out.

Like all my products, I offer the lesson in power point (

My store is packed with math lessons! I also have power points/active software lessons to teach how to compare decimals, add, subtract, and divide them, too. Gifted and Talented Materials by Joyce Lansky contains nineteen products about decimals. Please stop by and searchy

Indian in the Cupboard

Have you read Indian in the Cupboard? This great book, by Lynne Reid Banks, takes the reader through an imaginative journey when Omri discovers a cupboard which makes toys come to life.
If you choose to teach this wonderful book, please consider purchasing my teacher supplies to go along with it.

This 195 page power point, to accompany the teaching of The Indian in the Cupboard by Lynne Reid Banks, contains vocabulary activities, higher level thinking questions, and activities. I used these lessons with my gifted and talented fourth grade students.

If you are lucky enough to have a Promethean Board, please find an identical product available in Active Software. I broke this unit into two parts because with so many pages, the flip charts moved too slowly for a complete unit in active software.

I've also created math word problems to go along with the book.

Among the Hidden

As a huge Margaret Peterson Haddix fan, I enjoyed making this book unit for Among the Hidden, the first book of The Shadow Children series. In this thrilling alternate world, Luke must hide from the world because the law prohibits the birth of third born kids, like him.

If you choose to teach this book, be sure to include my Among the Hidden unit in power point or on active software.  The unit contains vocabulary work, critical thinking/discussion questions, achievement test type questions in reading and math, writing ideas, and activities to go along with the unit.

For Power Point:

For Promethean Board:
  (Chapters 1 - 16)
   (Chapters 17 - 30)

Also, please read what one customer had to say about this product.
